Right now, without any effort on my part we have a beautiful collection of daffodils growing under the living room window. I am not going to disturb these, and will only plant in the other 2 empty beds. Hopefully, as the spring and summer progress so will the pictures. Wish me luck!

It begins.....the Garden!
Take a look at my To Be Garden!
I am very fortunate this year to finally not be in an apartment building. I am living in a duplex, with very lax landlords, who think we are the greatest thing since s
liced bread since we actually pay our rent and don't try to burn the place down. So, we have permission to plant a garden. I have been wanting to plant a garden for such a long time. The last time I had the opportunity was in 2002. My ex and I took over a couple sections of his parents' yard and planted a vegetable garden, and it was quite successful, or so I hear. Due to many other factors, including living in a different city an hour away and then my ex moving to a city six hours away, I didn't get to reap the benefits of this garden. I saw pictures, and only heard stories of the sweet tomatoes, giant sunflowers and plump tomatillos.
I don't have a lot of space to grow things here, but there are two small beds, and I plan to make the most of them. And, also, it's still a rental, so I don't want to put in a whole lot of work into building raised beds, etc., which would be best. (Above is the middle bed, and to the left is the side bed.)
Right now, without any effort on my part we have a beautiful collection of daffodils growing under the living room window. I am not going to disturb these, and will only plant in the other 2 empty beds. Hopefully, as the spring and summer progress so will the pictures. Wish me luck!
